Mikeldienas market

 The next morning we meet at the school at 09:00h. Today we are going to help the students of the parliament to organize the chairs and tables, because today is "Mikeldienas market". "Mikeldienas market" is a market organized by the early years children. They sell their own decorated objects, food and sweets. The students of the upper grades buy what they like and enjoy a pleasant morning. We fiercely admire the autonomy shown by each of them and how much fun they have.

Around 12:00h we go to the cultural center of the youth of the city of Jurmala. There we are attended by the person in responsible and she tells us which are the proposals that the cultural center has for the youth of the city. Also, she asks us for help to organize and design the different spaces they have. Once she tells us this, we set off in groups of four/five people and begin the process of what our ideal cultural space would be like.

At the end of the day, we all go home for dinner, since we will meet again at the center around 8:00 pm. Tomorrow is "Teachers' day", so the students of the parliament need our help to organize the different activities that will take place during the first hours during the morning.

Once we meet, we make 65 bouquets of flowers for each teacher of the center. Tomorrow at the entrance a bouquet will be given to each one of them, as well as sweets. For the students and teachers it is a special day to show their gratitude and respect for the effort of all of them. After the 65 bouquets of flowers, we return home to rest, as today has been a long day and we have to pack our bags, as tomorrow is our last day in Latvia.
